Working in the United States
Our international headquarters is in Boone, North Carolina, in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Most of our U.S.-based employees work in Boone. Just down the mountain from Boone, in North Wilkesboro, we also have staff at our headquarters for North American Ministries and Mission Aviation Services. Across the nation, in or near large metro areas, we have 13 regional Operation Christmas Child offices. These offices support OCC within a specific geographical area. Following a disaster response in the United States we may have opportunity to coordinate a recovery and rebuild program in the area. When this happens we hire short-term staff to work alongside an army of volunteers to clear debris, make repairs, and rebuild homes for vulnerable people whose lives have been turned upside down by natural disaster. These rebuild locations vary since we respond to disasters from coast to coast.
