We are seeking a Learning & Development Training Coordinator. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the New Employee Orientation Trainer in ensuring effective scheduling, preparation, and implementation of New Employee Orientation for domestic staff and Disaster Response teams. The Coordinator supports the implementation of orientation programs, tracks participation, and maintains data to ensure accurate reporting.

A day in the life of a Learning & Development Training Coordinator:

In the role of a Learning & Development Training Coordinator, you will:

  • Provide administrative support for the effective preparation and implementation of trainings, events, and conferences.
  • Communicate with participants, their supervisors, session facilitators, and other departments to support travel, scheduling, attendance, and smooth operation of New Employee Orientation sessions.
  • Arrange travel (air, hotel, and rental car) for up to 100 participants each month.
  • Schedule training facilities, meals, and presenters for multiple orientation sessions each month.
  • Purchase, prepare, proofread, print, and assemble orientation materials.
  • Support the development, implementation, and management of ongoing processes and systems to track and report on information, participation, and usage of resources.
  • Assist with ongoing documentation and updating of HR department processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A personal, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and desire to continue being an active, consistent witness for Him.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university and two (2) years of event coordination, travel planning, or other related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
