Opportunity Overview:

We have an incredible opportunity for a Lead Senior Data Analyst to support IT department here at Samaritan's Purse. This Lead Data Analyst works closely with senior IT management to define, develop, and execute the data strategy for key systems. Additionally, will have an integral role in executing data governance, data quality initiatives, data security, and the implementation of data warehouse and reporting toolsets. Technical Requirements/Duties:

  • Desired 5+ years experience (supervisory experience preferred) in completing research, statistical analysis, and marketing utilizing SQL, T-SQL, and Visio for the creation of data flows.
  • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
  • Establish the processes, rules, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure that all data presentations are accurate, complete, consistent, reliable, and secure.
  • Extensive experience with SQL, T-SQL, Visio, Tableau for the creation of data flows and evaluations of data presentations.
  • Significant experience working with relational databases and analyzing complex datasets
  • Develop a data glossary to ensure that common language is used amongst all data presentations, segmentations, and data pulls.
  • Work with the cyber security team and data owners to ensure that our data is appropriately protected. 
  • Examines and analyzes data to forecast trends in donor or giving patterns.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility despite changing job parameters, deadlines, or directions
  • Develop the reporting architecture that ensures that the right people have the right access to the right data.
  • Work with data owners to implement business rules for internal and external data sharing.
  • Work cross functionally with data analysts, IT, and data owners to create and implement a data and reporting architecture that meets ministry needs.
  • Create and maintain data maps to ease communication with non-data owners.
  • Evaluate, maintain, and improve existing reporting toolsets.
  • Produces reports, Tableau views, or other means to provide comprehensive and actionable information to ministry leadership.
  • Recommends changes to communications strategy/tactics to increase response, improve return on investment, and/or improve overall performance of communication projects and ministry activities.
  • Coordinates with IT and ministry areas on effective deployment of enterprise reporting and analysis tools.
  • Conducts or oversees research studies as needed.
  • Attend daily morning devotions and participates in prayer support for the ministry, donors and volunteers.
