Samaritan’s Purse is seeking a Finance Software Delivery Manager to join our team Remotely. You can be helping the ministry with our enterprise finance systems daily!  As a Finance Software Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical direction over Oracle Financials, Supply Chain Management (FSCM), Billing, Resource Management, and other applications to ensure maximum uptime, high performance, and excellent customer service.  Also, you will lead finance systems project management including the selection, rollout, and improvement of our enterprise level finance systems.  Bring your finance systems knowledge to a highly professional enterprise systems team. Come and use your gifts daily to advance the Gospel!

A day in the life of a Finance Software Delivery Manager:

In the role of Finance Service Line Manager you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Provide high level day-to-day support and maintenance for Oracle Financials, Supply Chain Management (FSCM), Billing, Resource Management, and other applications to ensure maximum uptime, high performance, and excellent customer service.
  • Offer innovative technologies, solution ideas, and potential business process improvements in pursuit of driving efficiencies and meeting business needs
  • Lead Finance Systems project management including the selection, rollout, and improvement of Enterprise Level Finance Systems
  • Provide technical directions to Financial Systems developers on existing and new interfaces
  • Utilize experience with Finance enterprise applications to lead with upgrades, enhancements, and operational support procedures
  • Manage a team of Financial Business Systems Analysts responsible for the improvement of and support of Samaritan’s Purse enterprise applications
  • Serve as a liaison between the Information Technology Department and the user community
  • Meet regularly with users to track open issues and facilitate the effective use of software applications
  • Coordinate the testing of Finance based technology-related projects
  • Serve as liaison between developers, network managers, HelpDesk, and software support on ongoing IT department operations
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field and 10 (ten) or more years of related experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current Finance systems and technologies
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Oracle Financials, Supply Chain Management (FSCM), Billing, Resource Management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business systems analysis, the software development lifecycle, human factors, and effective user interfaces
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both the IT department and the user community
  • Ability to assist in maintenance and engagement in a way that allows people to execute their responsibilities and streamline business operations
  • Ability to think “big picture” and determine and understand subsequent priorities, comprehending process and increasing efficiency and effectiveness of any given system
  • Ability to collaborate successfully with vendors, inside the department, and within the Ministry
  • Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies preferred not required
