Samaritan’s Purse is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to join our team remotely. You can be helping the ministry navigate our HRIS System every day!  As a Senior HRIS Analyst, you will be supporting and solving Tier III technical issues in person or by remote tools as needed and providing excellent customer service to staff, vendors, and volunteers.  Bring your technical talents to assist in the configuration and improvement our of ministries HR System.  Come and use your gifts every day to advance the Kingdom of God!

A day in the life of a Senior HRIS Analyst:

In the role of Senior HRIS Analyst you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Work alongside other HRIS analysts to help configure and improve our PeopleSoft HRIS platform and sytems design, structure, functions, and processes.
  • Manage the review, project planning, testing, and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches and collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix
  • Analyze business problems to be solved with automated systems and recommend/implement customer service improvements, innovative solutions, and configuration changes
  • Provide overall project management as needed. Use project management and collaboration skills in managing projects and leading cross-functional teams
  • Configure system settings and options to meet business requirements and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Work with HR subject matter experts to support, lead implementation to work streams, and help make processes more efficient
  • Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
  • Assist in development of standard and custom reports and dashboards for ongoing customer needs and maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data
  • Provide overall project management as needed. Use project management and collaboration skills in managing projects and leading cross-functional teams. Work with HR functional leads, and IT to create and update road map.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, information systems, computer science or related field and seven (7) years of Peoplesoft HRIS analytics experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to proactively identify areas of opportunity and suggest solutions to improve business processes and achieve efficiencies
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HRIS database design, structure, functions, and processes, and experience with database tools
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR processes and data
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills to handle a variety of activities and complexities spanning the organization
  • Comprehensive knowledge of configuring and implementing enterprise HR systems 
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams across the organization
  • Strong team player with a high degree of flexibility
  • Ability to work at both a strategic and tactical level
  • Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies required
