Operation Christmas Child is a dynamic, fast-paced ministry of Samaritan's Purse, transforming lives around the world through the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are seeking a Manager, Corporate and Ministry Partnerships, with excellent ability to develop relationships. Are you experienced in high-level donor partnerships? Do you have experience working with corporate clients with the ability to develop strong relationships in the business community? This position will allow you to manage and grow the Operation Christmas Child (OCC) ministry brand and public awareness, as well as generate more shoebox gifts annually through corporate involvement and national ministry and community group partnerships. This position is based out of our IHQ in Boone, NC, and options to work from one of our eight Ministry Centers around the country are available.

A day in the life of a Corporate & Ministry Partnerships Manager:

At Samaritan’s Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do!  We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe. 

In the role of Corporate & Ministry Partnerships Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Annually increase participation and shoebox gift generation of Samaritan’s Purse/Operation Christmas Child through the development of shoebox generation and community group partnerships
  • Maintain, grow and deepen all current partnerships and grow the number of national shoebox generating partnerships
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with field staff and local volunteers when engaging activity on local, regional, and national levels
  • Travel to national partner conferences and events to represent and promote OCC for quality assurance of optimizing paid sponsorships, affirming and holding accountable vendors to advertising opportunity
  • Lead the team to research, plan and propose a list of like-minded potential partners with plans to pitch and secure promotional partnership agreements annually
  • Lead staff team to further develop and deepen volunteer teams in community relations
  • Manage the Corporate and Ministry Partnerships budget and all related expenses
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or equivalent
  • Three (3) to five (5) years’ in corporate and donor partnerships and/or related experience
  • Highly relational with a strong ability to grow partnerships
  • Supervisory experience or manager of a team; enjoys coaching others
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills; public speaking and presentations
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to successfully manage multiple priorities
  • Self-starter who takes initiative on reaching goals
  • 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required)

Job Location: Charlotte or Boone, NC preferred, nationwide Ministry Centers possible

Type:  Full-Time

Language Requirement: Fluency in English (required)

Travel Expectations: Approximately 50-75 days annually
