Samaritan’s Purse is seeking a HR Systems Analyst to join our team Remotely! You can be helping the ministry to improve our HR system every day!  As an HR Systems Analyst, you will be you will supporting and completing an extensive and complex range of human resources systems analysis and configurations within the PeopleSoft HRIS system.  You also will be able to partner with other internal departments and staff, such as IT, Payroll, and HR Partners to ensure the delivery of quality HRIS support services.  Bring your HR systems knowledge to help support a mission critical system.  Come and use your gifts daily to advance the Gospel!

A day in the life of a HR Systems Analyst:

In the role of HR Systmes Analyst you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Provide expert PeopleSoft systems analysis and support within our HRIS System
  • Manage the review, project planning, testing, and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches
  • Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate the application of any upgrades or fixes
  • Maintain HRIS system tables, document process and results, and recommend and assist in the HRIS system implementation process and service improvements
  • Ensure HRIS reporting includes accurate and timely data for enrollments, salary and location changes, separations, deferrals, and address changes
  • Partner with other internal departments and staff, such as IT, Payroll, and HR Partners to ensure the delivery of optimal services and support
  • Utilize project management and collaboration skills in managing projects and leading cross-functional teams
  • Work with HR functional leads, and IT to create and update road map
  • Work closely with the HR Assistant Director to perform audit reviews, mass upload changes, and additional systems support as needed 
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, information systems, computer science or related field and four (4) plus years of HR systems management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Thorough understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions, and processes, and experience with database tools
  • Ability to proactively identify areas of opportunity and suggest solutions to improve business processes and achieve efficiencies
  • Thorough nderstanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions, and processes, and experience with database tools
  • Thorough nderstanding of HR processes and data
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills to handle a variety of activities and complexities spanning the organization
  • Ability to skillfully influence without authority
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams across the organization
  • Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies required
