Samaritan’s Purse is seeking a Lead Enterprise Systems Administrator to join our team Remotely!  You can be helping the ministry navigate our HRIS System every day!  As a Lead Enterprise Systems Administrator, you will lead in development within multipel enterprise systems,  providing technical analysis to design application solutions.  Also, you will collaborate with the functional teams to develop and execute test plans and scripts.  Bring your systems knowledge and expertise to a highly professional IT team.  Come and use your gifts every day to advance the Kingdom of God!

A day in the life of a Lead Enterprise Systems Administrator:

In the role of Lead Enterprise Systems Administrator you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Communicate in defining what expectations are required for project completion
  • Deliver solutions on time, within the team budget, and in alignment with team quality standards
  • Serve as liaison between developers, network managers, HelpDesk, and software support on ongoing IT department operations
  • Create new technical specifications and modification documentation to help drive team success
  • Develop within variou ministry enterprise systems, providing technical analysis to design application solutions
  • Provide administrative support in PeopleSoft Financials, Supply Chain Management (FSCM), Billing, Resource Management Financials, HCM, T&L, Payroll, ELM
  • Program and implement applications and services that meet all design specifications for Samaritan’s Purse’s various ministry functions
  • Collaborate with the functional teams to develop and execute test plans and scripts, and coordinate testing of technology-related projects
  • Implement and test any configuration changes through writing queries in SQL
  • Assist in troubleshooting, resolving customer trouble tickets, and reported application issues
  • Complete project management in regards to enterprise systems development
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, information systems, computer science or related field and seven (7) years of Peoplesoft HRIS analytics experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Thorough knowledge of current enterprise systems and technologies
  • Thorough knowledge of information technologies and software applications (software application usage and/or troubleshooting, providing user training, and system and security setup or configuration)
  • Thorough knowledge of business systems analysis, the software development lifecycle, human factors, and effective user interfaces
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both the IT department and the user community
  • Ability to assist with maintenance and engagement in a way that allows people to execute their responsibilities and streamline business operations
  • Ability to take direction and creatively exchange ideas, and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to think “big picture” and determine and understand subsequent priorities, comprehending process and increasing efficiency and effectiveness of any given system
  • Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies required
