A day in the life of a Print Production Administrator

At Samaritan’s Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do!  We start each day with a time of devotions and prayer.  We hear from members of our staff, both from IHQ and our global offices, as well a special guest speakers who encourage us in God’s word.  We then join together to prayer for one another, as well as praying for staff and volunteers who serve around the globe.  We get paid to start each day this way! 

In the role of Print Production Administrator, you will be responsible for the operation of various software, in-house programs, and printers involved in the daily production of donor receipts, acknowledgments, and special mailings for various ministry departments. Coordinates the setup and printing of letters, receipts, reports, and special mailings

Job Duties

  • Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
  • Works directly with Communications on letter formatting, updates, and obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Sets up monthly receipt files, acknowledgments, and special response letters and forms of printed communications, ensuring new files are loaded for current mailings.
  • Works directly with Quality Assurance on the production and printing of large donor letters; and building of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association files as determined by the President’s Office.
  • Creates, processes, and prints files for the production of daily receipts, cards, acknowledgments, and in-house mailings using various software and programs. Works directly with Information Technology (IT) when any processing issues arise.
  • Operates and maintains the upkeep of all printers used for various print jobs. Submits work tickets with IT and equipment vendors when issues arise.
  • Ensures accuracy, quality, and timeliness with printing of all mailings and receipts.
  • Creates, updates, and maintains various reports as it relates to print jobs and materials used.
  • Works with Data Processing on quality checking donor records, updating accounts, and verifying address standardizations.
  • Assists with donation processing as needed.
  • Maintains a high level of database accuracy to ensure smooth operations for all areas of the ministry.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality of donor records at all times.
  • Follows policies and procedures of Samaritan’s Purse as set forth in the Policy Manual.
  • Attends daily morning devotions and participates in prayer support for the ministry, donors and volunteers.
  • Maintains a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the general public.
  • Other duties may be assigned that are not specifically identified within the content of the job description.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and focus
  • Ability to work with accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality to maintain positive donor relationships
  • Ability to start, stop, and resume tasks amid changing priorities
  • Critical thinking, decision making, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing processes, procedures, work load, and database changes with a positive attitude
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • General knowledge of Label Studio, Presort Views, Notepad ++, and/or Xante iQueue a plus!
