Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, partners with local believers and churches in over 100 countries to share the powerful message of the Gospel through a simple shoebox gift.  Our desire is to continue to grow this exciting, life changing ministry so more children around the world are impacted by the Gospel.  We accomplish shoebox gift growth through the development of leader volunteers in the US who lead local volunteer teams promoting and growing the ministry of Operation Christmas Child (OCC) in their communities.

This is a six month, full-time position in Charlotte, starting in August. Don’t miss this opportunity to use your skills to have Kingdom impact in the lives of children all over the world!

A day in the life of a Corporate Relations Associate:

At Samaritan’s Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do!  We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe. 

In the role of Corporate Relations Associate, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Responsible for the processing of all Gift-In-Kind donations
  • Ensures proper record keeping, approvals, database entry, and appropriate acknowledgement of the donor(s)
  • Support the use of CRM and Studio Enterprise as a donor database and tool for managing and soliciting donor relationships
  • Coordinate shipments for Corporate Relations as needed with donors and OCC Logistics team
  • Support the use of our inventory system for all Gift-In-Kind donations
  • Support the physical inventory of Gift-in-Kind in Operation Christmas Child warehouses as needed
  • Assist with the search and development of Gift-In-Kind contacts
  • Conduct research, compile information, and manage correspondence
  • Perform additional administrative functions such as expense reports, reimbursements, meeting notes, and editing of various documents
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Highly detailed, administrative and database management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook; able to learn other software applications as needed
  • Proactive team player who goes the extra mile

Job Location: Charlotte, NC (no remote option)

Type:  Six month, Full-time

Language Requirement: Fluency in English
