Overview

Samaritan’s Purse and Operation Christmas Child (OCC) is seeking a skilled, promotions-oriented, professional leader ready to provide support and deliverables for the purpose of children coming to know Jesus Christ, in the position of Church and Multicultural Partnerships Manager. This individual will manage, grow, and deepen the Operation Christmas Child ministry brand and public awareness, as well as generate more shoe box gifts annually through a specific focus on partnering with multicultural national churches, ministries, and community organizations. The primary focus will be on Spanish speaking audiences, with growth into other diverse markets. The position seeks to establish ministry/community group partnerships resulting in more shoe box gifts which allows more opportunity to share the gospel with children worldwide.

*Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required

*This position requires frequent travel, approx 70-80 days annually

A day in the life of a Church and Multicultural Partnerships Manager:

In the role of Church and Multicultural Partnerships Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
• Manage, grow, and deepen the Operation Christmas Child ministry brand and public awareness within multicultural markets
• Generate more shoe box gifts annually through a specific focus on partnering with multicultural national churches, ministries, and community organizations
• Lead the research, strategic planning, and proposal of likeminded potential partners with plans to present and secure promotional partnership agreements
• Work closely with other teams within Operation Christmas Child to grow support, develop training and marketing materials, and communicate effectively with volunteers and field staff
• Provide leadership and support at national conferences and events to strengthen current partnerships and strategically develop new partnerships by growing a multicultural network and cultivating those relationships
• Manage and implement appropriate budgets to support ongoing promotion of Operation Christmas Child to Spanish-speaking and other multicultural audiences
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Proven leader, who can also take direction and messaging well and is very results oriented
• Track record of success in growing and building promotional relationships
• Strong cross-cultural communicator; able to make verbal and written presentations effectively in both English and Spanish
• Humble self-starter with the ability to strategically plan and think outside of the box
• Able to anticipate and solve problems while maintaining unity within the team
• Both highly relational and detail oriented

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and/or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies is required

Travel Expectations: Approx 70-80 days annually
