Overview

Samaritan’s Purse is looking for a high capacity Administrative Coordinator who is motivated to use their organizational skills for eternal impact with Operation Christmas Child. A day in the life of an Administrative Coordinator:

At Samaritan’s Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do!  We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe. 

In the role of Administrative Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Manage all administrative duties including the coordination of various events’ details, travel itineraries, processing reimbursement requests, and ensuring that documents are properly sent through the approval process
  • Manage the purchasing process for Domestic Operations related supplies; produce invoices and track expenses 
  • Act as liaison to the Finance Department to reconcile accounts payable
  • Support the shipping of volunteer resources such as Collection Network kits and assist in the receiving and processing of Closure Packets from Central Drop-off locations
  • Process all Gifts In Kind paperwork and support the data entry and management of donor information in Studio Enterprise
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Highly detail oriented and organized; thrives in a fast paced environment
  • Takes initiative in work and is comfortable working independently
  • Outstanding time management skills
  • Strong capacity to anticipate issues and problem solve
  • High acumen and demonstrated ability in Microsoft Excel and database systems
  • Demonstrates humility and a team focused mindset
  • Prior experience as an Administrative Assistant or Coordinator (preferred)
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Location: Boone, NC

Type:  Full-time

Language Requirement: Fluency in English (required)

Travel Expectations: Approx 4-6 weeks annually
