Overview

Samaritan’s Purse is looking for a Regional Office Administrator (ROA) who enjoys customer service and is detail-oriented.  This position will serve alongside the Operation Christmas Child (OCC) Regional Administrative Coordinator to provide customer and administrative support at our ministry site in Fullerton, CA.  Join the team and use your gifts and talents for the Kingdom!

 

**During OCC Processing Season (Sept thru mid-Dec), this will be a 40/hr week position (Mon-Sat).  During the regular season, this position will be less than 20/hrs week. 

 

A day in the life of a Regional Office Administrator:

At Samaritan’s Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do!  We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe. 

 

In the role of Regional Office Administrator, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Respond courteously and professionally to voicemail, email and phone inquiries in a timely manner
  • Enthusiastically communicate a basic understanding of Operation Christmas Child to the public
  • Develop, maintain, and track volunteer data
  • Process closing packets and additional paperwork from various drop-off locations throughout the region
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Flexible and willing to learn new systems
  • Team player; able to receive instruction and willing to serve others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (preferred)

 

Job Location: Fullerton, CA

Type:  Part-Time; Less than 20/hrs week (Jan-Aug); 40/hrs week (Sept thru mid-Dec)

Language Requirement: Fluency in English (required)
