Operation Christmas Child (OCC) International is looking for a Field Events and Content Specialist to serve at our International Headquarters in Boone, NC to coordinate and support international trips and the management and communication of global content. A day in the life of a Field Events and Content Specialist 

At Samaritans Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do!  We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other and our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe.

In the role of Field Events and Content Specialist, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness to Him
• Lead the development and maintenance of OCCiStory and content resources
• Provide leadership and expertise in the planning and support of OCC field events for selected staff, volunteers, and donors 
• Conduct pre-trip visits and/or meetings with the National Leadership Team to set expectations and plan for upcoming trips
• Assist in the comprehensive approach to planning and executing Content Trips
• Oversee the facilitation of outreach events and The Greatest Journey events for Content Trips
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• General knowledge of photo, video, and digital file management
• Experience operating within Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity and comfortability working with multiple languages and cultures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Travel Expectations: Travel Expectation:  80-100 days/annually; required travel documents and vaccinations for entry into foreign countries will be necessary
