We are seeking a Livelihoods Program Manager to serve in one of our International Undisclosed offices. In the role of Livelihoods Program Manager, you are responsible for management of livelihoods programs with Samaritans Purse at this residential community. You will provide overall leadership, management, technical guidance, and direction to ensure successful implementation of programs for a displaced population in a unique residential community. The Program Manager is accountable for both the quality of the program and for the effective financial and operational management.
A day in the life of a Livelihoods Program Manager:

In the role of Livelihoods Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
- Manage project implementation activities for Agriculture and Business teams and their specific components and ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with the agreed work-plans, proposals, and guidelines. Includes developing and driving project vision, in coordination with project leadership
- Manage diverse staff including delegating tasks, building their capacity, appraising and addressing performance, and handling staff conflict
- Manage and respond to beneficiary complaints, feedback, and requests through team and direct meetings with beneficiaries
- Develop and maintains up to date standard operating procedures for business and agriculture components (i.e. apprenticeships, diversification, distributions, cash grant programming, etc.)
- Manage and conduct information sharing, market assessments, crop selling, and identifying new growth opportunities for existing greenhouses and small business livelihoods
- Coordinate with Budget Holder to steward resources in accordance with Samaritans Purse finance protocols, working with leadership on forecasting expenditure surpluses and deficits. Includes the timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and final reports
- Supervise or delegate the supervision of contractors, employees, and temporary laborers for Agriculture and Business components to ensure equity and quality standards are met
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience
- A personal, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and desire to continue being an active, consistent witness for Him.
- Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university in Agriculture, Development, Business, Economics, or related field of study.
- 2-4+ years of technical working experience in development projects management in livelihoods/food or cash projects (required).
- Strong knowledge of livelihoods, food processing, or cash distributions.
- Experience in project management in various sectors including proposal writing, program development, implementation, and monitoring/evaluating methodologies.
- Experience managing a team of staff. Proven management and leadership experience.
- Strong project management, financial management, organizational, and relational skills. A strong team player and adept at creating a strong team spirit.
- Field experience in the Middle East or similar context and knowledge of the region is a strong asset. Ability to be flexible and adaptable.

Travel Expectations: 25 days/annually; required travel documents and vaccinations for entry into foreign countries will be necessary
