Are you a Registered Nurse, Physician, Surgeon, or Ancillary Medical Professional who thrives under pressure and has a heart for sharing the love of Christ with those who are hurting?
Samaritans Purse is seeking medical bilingual, Arabic-speaking health care professionals to serve on our Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART). The Samaritans Purse DART is committed to meeting the critical needs of victims of war, poverty, famine, disease, and natural disaster. We stand ready to respond at a moment's notice whenever and wherever disaster strikes. The DART specializes in providing water, food, shelter, and medical care while sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Because deployments occur with little or no warning, DART members must have a flexible schedule and ability to deploy on short notice. DART members can be deployed to dangerous places, the living conditions can be challenging and the work days long and hard. However, Samaritans Purse believes in being the first on the ground in order to serve and help those who have suffered through a catastrophic event in the name of Jesus Christ.
How serving on the DART roster works:
DART members are on-call employees. They have careers and life circumstances separate from DART but are able to make themselves available when a new response is initiated. While deployed, DART members are compensated, and Samaritan's Purse covers response-related living and travel costs.
