Are you fluent in French? Do you have experience serving alongside the church in a cross-cultural context? Samaritans Purse is seeking an International Regional Manager, West Africa to serve with Operation Christmas Child (OCC) at our international headquarters in Boone, NC.  As Regional Manager, you will work with local churches and volunteers to play an indispensable role in advancing God's kingdom through evangelizing and discipling children in West Africa. A day in the life of an International Regional Manager:

At Samaritans Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do!  We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe. 

In the role of International Regional Manager, West Africa, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
• Recruit, select and train volunteer leadership teams in West Africa to facilitate the distribution of OCC shoebox gifts and teach a twelve-lesson discipleship program (The Greatest Journey)
• Train and mobilize volunteers to organize gospel-focused outreach events for local children
• Develop teams of volunteer prayer coordinators to support the work of OCC
• Teach financial stewardship principals to local teams
• Oversee the OCC administrative process for the region
• Provide regular progress reports and attend OCC leadership meetings
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters degree in Missions, Missiology, Theology or other related field (preferred)
• 3-5 years experience serving internationally or in cross-cultural contexts
• Experience recruiting and training volunteer teams
• Experience working with the local churches in a cross-cultural context
• Ability to present and train small and large groups
• Budgetary and financial management experience
• Ability to work collaboratively with a dynamic team 
• Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships in the region
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Acrobat) and Zoom
• 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (strongly preferred)
• Fluent in French (required)

Job Location: Boone, NC

Type: Full-Time

Language Requirement: Fluency in English and French

Travel Expectations: 80-110 days annually; required travel documents and vaccinations for entry into foreign countries if necessary
