A day in the life of a Data and Reporting Analyst: 

At Samaritan's Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do!  We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe. 

In the role of a Data & Reporting Analyst you will have the opportunity to: 

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
• Serve as the primary reporting and data resource for the department, collaborating with Information Technology to ensure data accuracy and integrity while being the go-to contact for all donor-related inquiries
• Lead the department in crafting insightful reports and dynamic dashboards that reflect ongoing activities and outcomes, working closely with Donor Ministry leadership to drive data-driven decisions
• Collaborate with database users to maintain the highest standards of data collection, optimize database functionality, and provide training and support, ensuring seamless user experience and data presentation.
• Conduct regular data analytics to inform strategic departmental goals and performance metrics, helping guide the direction of initiatives that enhance donor engagement and overall ministry impact.
• Dive deep into donor information and monitor trends to provide actionable insights for enhancing donor relationships, reporting findings directly to departmental leadership to refine engagement strategies.
• Play a key role in Donor Response during disasters, ensuring effective communication with donors about the various ministries of Samaritan's Purse, while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of response procedures and current ministry projects.
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience: 

• Bachelors Degree and at least three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 
• Strong computer skills, including a general knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Avaya CMS, ACRM, and other related office support software or equipment
• Strong team player with a high degree of flexibility
• 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (preferred)
