We are searching for a Health and Nutrition Sector Manager to join our team in Niger. In this role, you will be the point person for field-level implementation of health and nutrition programs. You'll identify needs, build capacity into your team and local providers, make sure our activities are meeting needs, and supplies are used effectively. Come be part of what God is doing in Niger.
A day in the life of a Health and Nutrition Sector Manager:

In the role of Health and Nutrition Sector Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.
- Manage the Health and the Nutrition Program Managers and their teams to deliver quality programming, and collaborate to review field assessments, identify needs, implement response plans, and monitor effectiveness.
- Advise and support the Country Director and program staff to construct and deliver programming by building proposals and budgets for new and extended projects while monitoring their implementation and effectiveness according to global standards and best practices.
- Represent Samaritans Purse, and network with donors, UN agencies, government authorities, sector colleagues, and other stakeholders, ensuring that plans and proposals address critical needs and donor criteria.
- Ensure effective budget management, including correct coding and adherence to financial management guidelines.
- Attend sector meetings and works with the International Health Unit (IHU) to obtain local and global program updates, capacity building opportunities, and other support.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters in Public Health (MPH) with at least three (3) years of experience in health and nutrition work; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Ability to collect, manage and analyze data, and write statistical and narrative reports and proposals.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to lead, influence, coach, and encourage multiple direct reports, and their teams.
- 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete this requirement is available upon hire.
