Samaritan's Purse is seeking a relational and administrative individual to serve as a Vision Trip Associate with our Operation Christmas Child (OCC) in Charlotte, North Carolina. As the Vision Trip Associate, you will have the opportunity to focus is on guests care, ensuring they are well informed and prepared for the international vision trip.  This may include registration, answering guest questions, shipping welcome packets to each guest, packing supplies and other critical tasks as needed. A day in the life of a Vision Trip Associate:

At Samaritans Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do!  We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe. 

In the role of Vision Trip Associate, you will have the opportunity to:

•        Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
•        Assist Vision Trip Coordinator with administrative duties related to vision trip including: filing, copying, email/phone correspondence, data entry and organizing materials essential to the trip
•        Maintain data list; passport, contact information, flight details, medical information, hotel details, etc.
•        Support by answering phone calls and emails from staff and volunteers about upcoming and current trips as well assist while team is out supporting trips
•        Facilitate the mailing event materials and follow up packet
•        Oversee purchasing and packing materials to support each trip
•        Perform additional functions: editing documents, assembling resource guides and creating name, etc.
•        All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

•        Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
•        Previous administrative experience preferred
•        Solid customer service skills are required
•        Great communication skills both in email correspondence and over the phone
•        Strong ability to use Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook
•        Willing to be a team player and work with multiple teams
