Are you looking for an opportunity to use your administrative skills to help send the gospel to children and families around the world? Operation Christmas Child (OCC) International, a ministry of Samaritans Purse, is searching for an Administrative Associate to serve at our IHQ in Boone, NC. This person will be a talented, organized self-starter to assist our administrative staff during the events season with managing material and marketing material preparation, warehouse inventory and packing for events travel.  Additionally, processing expense reports and payment requests for our independent contractors in fifteen OCC regions globally, having the ability to track and manage both travel and financial data.  Experience with Microsoft Excel is required and an aptitude for learning new software systems is a must. A day in the life of a Administrative Associate:

At Samaritans Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do!  We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe. 

In the role of Administrative Associate, you will have the opportunity to:

•        Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
•        Process expense reports and payment requests for International Field Representatives (IFS)
•        Assist with reconciling actual expenses reporting after national conferences and closing year end books
•        Manage data entry of travel tracking spreadsheet for staff and IFRs
•        Oversee marketing material and preparation, warehouse inventory and packing for events
•        Assist with travel arrangements for conferences and recurring training registrations
•        All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

•        Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year- college or technical school is required. One(1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  
•        Enjoys data management and can prepare expense reports
•        Able to work in the warehouse environment and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
•        Strong attention to detail, able to multitask effectively
•        Flexible attitude, who enjoys serving others and helping the team succeed
