Samaritan’s Purse is seeking a Full-Time, Reception & Administrative Assistant to join our Donor Ministries Department in Coppell, Texas. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Director of Donor Partnerships and the Senior Regional Directors daily by completing required reports, completing partner portfolio maintenance, and overall support of the Regional Director team. Additionally, you will provide support in a courteous, timely, and accurate manner by prioritizing assigned work and using time wisely. In this role you will have the opportunity to provide Samaritan’s Purse Southwest Ministry Center with reception support by greeting and assisting all guests to the Ministry Center, and answering incoming calls. A day in the life of a Reception & Administrative Assistant:

At Samaritan’s Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do!  We start each day with a time of devotions and prayer.  We hear from members of our staff, both from IHQ and our global offices, as well a special guest speaker who encourages us in God’s word.  We then join together to prayer for one another, as well as praying for staff and volunteers who serve around the globe.  We get paid to start each day this way! 

In the role of a Reception & Administrative Assistant, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
• Provide daily support with all requested administrative needs for 20+ Regional Directors
• Answer phones, proactively interact with callers in a warm, professional and positive manner, fielding general questions and taking requests for information. Determine the callers need and routes the call to the appropriate person or department
• Set up/maintain accounts in database as information is made available by RDs/RADs or partners
• Receive guests, vendors, and salespersons. Follow the guest procedure by connecting the visitor with the most appropriate department or staff member. Assist guests, vendors, and salespersons with electronic visitor registration
• Complete all required reports and submits to leadership in a timely manner
• Support team leadership with department and interdepartmental communication, recordkeeping, database support, and reporting
• Follow policies and procedures of Samaritan’s Purse as set forth in the Policy and Procedure Manual
• Attend daily morning devotions and participates in prayer support for the ministry, donors and volunteers
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

• Associate’s Degree
• One (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
