Samaritan's Purse is seeking an Administrative Lead to join our team in Boone, NC or Charlotte, NC! As an Administrative Lead, you will be responsible for the management of administrative tasks across OCC Domestic. This includes creating and leading a system to disseminate/delegate as well as ensuring that the standard administrative load is carried across the OCC administrative team. The ideal candidate for this position is one with the heart of a servant who is detail-oriented, excellent in communication, and enjoys multi-tasking. Join this team as millions of lives are being changed through one simple shoebox gift!

 

A day in the life of an Administrative Lead

At Samaritan’s Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do!  We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other and our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe.

In the role of an Administrative Lead, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Facilitate all aspects of communication for basic but heavy load of administrative tasks such as travel authorizations, reimbursements and requisitions
  • Prepare all necessary paperwork for travel, conferences, etc.; maintain supplies and office equipment
  • Build and facilitate tasks needed for collection and delegation program to assign and follow up on assignments for all standard administrative functions
  • Lead administrative staff across OCC domestic and serve as primary back up for any and all administrative vacancies across a 22 member administrative team
  • Assist the OCC Assistant Director, Operations and/or the OCC Senior Operations Manager in preparing and executing the annual OCC PC purchasing plan
  • Assists with managing the inventory of all equipment and supplies stored in Boone and Charlotte, NC related to OCC PCs
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of administrative best practices
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Skills
  • Highly proficient at utilizing various computer tools (Microsoft Office, Datahaven, etc.)
  • Able to effectively prioritize and delegate in order to accomplish a task
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred; and minimum of three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies preferred.

Language Requirement: Fluency in English

Travel Expectations: Approximately 30 days/annually
