Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Staffing Operations Manager to join the Human Resource team! This role will have a focus on identifying opportunities for continuous improvement for staffing processes and procedures. Come be a part of what the Lord is doing at Samaritan's Purse!

A day in the life of a Staffing Operations Manager:

In the role of Staffing Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Collaborate with other teams identify opportunities for continuous improvement to staffing operations with a focus on improving candidate and recruiter user experiences through standardization, automation, and digitization
  • Produce and maintain operational documents including process workflows, standard operating procedures, and work instructions
  • Oversee recruiting data analysis, reporting, and insights as well as make data-guided recommendations
  • Assist with process mapping initiatives, especially surrounding job architecture, workforce planning, and position management across the ministry
  • Develop and maintain Staffing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Key Performances Indicators (KPIs)/metrics
  • Deliver recurring reports and dashboards on recruiter KPIs and survey data such as: hiring manager satisfaction, candidate experience, etc.
  • Develop and assist in the facilitation of a standardized training program to ensure all newly hired/promoted partners, specialists, recruiters, and coordinators are properly oriented to Samaritan's Purse staffing processes, technology, and tools.
  • Maintain relationships with ministry partners and high-level key stakeholders
  • Stay abreast of current recruiting trends and staffing developments, works with Global Staffing Manager to adjust processes and systems accordingly.
  • Ensure the Staffing team is adhering to the compliance and EEOC regulations. Work closely with the HR Service legal team and other stakeholders to ensure consistency in hiring practices are documented and delivered in all that we do.
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and administration for the HR staffing office
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Business Management, Human Resources, or related field. Minimum of five (5) years of related recruitment and staffing experience with minimum of two (2) years in a recruiting operations role; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • SHRM Professional Human Resources Certification or other recognized HR certification preferred  
  • Thorough knowledge of domestic and international recruitment and of Application Tracking Systems, Staffing/Placement Systems, and CRMs
  • Thorough knowledge of workforce planning to meet organizational goals and experience working with/at all levels of management
  • Demonstrated problem solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines required
  • Excellent organizational skills and detailed oriented
  • Strong customer service focus and ability to communicate professionally through verbal and written communication
  • Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire

Travel Expectations: Intermittent domestic travel; less than 10%
