Would you like to help mold and shape Interns and Apprentices for future service with Kingdom work?  Then the Campus Relations Training Facilitator role, located in Boone, NC, may be for you!  The Campus Relations Training Facilitator assists with developing, executing and evaluating the training and performance management for the Samaritan’s Purse Internship and Apprenticeship Programs. Working closely with Campus Relations and Learning and Development teams, and various ministry departments, the role will develop and strengthen the Internship and Apprenticeship Programs training efforts.  Come join the Team!

A day in the life of a Campus Relations Training Facilitator:

At Samaritan’s Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do!  We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe. 

In the role of Campus Relations Training Facilitator, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Aid with the development, coordination, and execution of all Intern and Apprentice Program training efforts.
  • Aid with the identification and selection of subject matter experts for preparation-phase efforts; oversee facilitation of speakers and all other logistical elements relating to both preparation-phase and training efforts.
  • Aid with the development, review, and improvement of preparation-phase training and curriculum each term, conducting needs analysis to help determine training content effectiveness for overall program and recommending improvements for future terms.
  • Help lead Campus Relations efforts for overall performance management efforts for Apprentices during their time of service; work closely with departments to gather performance feedback data and distribute to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Serve as liaison between Apprentices and Campus Relations, with special emphasis during preparation-phases; through professional relationships developed with Apprentices during all preparation-phase efforts, gather and provide necessary performance feedback to Campus Relations team and others where needed
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Strong presentation skills and ability to effectively present to various levels of audiences, including executives, peers, and students
  • Ability to drive sourcing strategy and achieve results
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to establish relationships with all levels of an organization
  • Technically proficient with IT systems, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, reports, internet navigation, and research
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data to insight
  • Knowledge of employment law, corporate recruitment processes, recruitment strategies, and current recruiting trends, including social media and search engine optimization
  • Track record of success in managing projects and programs in a fast pace, complex, and ever changing work environment
  • True member of the team - proactively partners with HR, Learning and Development, and Peers to establish best practices
  • Ability to mentor and develop others
  • Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (strongly preferred); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire.

Travel Expectations: Some international travel required and up to 20% domestic travel during spring and fall recruiting seasons.
