Operation Christmas Child (OCC) Domestic, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, is searching for an Associate Regional Administrative Receptionist to serve at our OCC Processing Center in Fullerton, CA. This person will be a talented, organized self-starter to assist our West Coast OCC Regional and Facilities teams. A day in the life of an Associate Regional Administrative Receptionist: 
At Samaritan’s Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do!  We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe.  
In the role of Associate Regional Administrative Receptionist, you will have the opportunity to: 
•    Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
•    Enter and maintain accurate volunteer data in database software for the Region’s Samaritan’s Purse/ OCC Connect volunteers and prospects. Develops and/or maintains and tracks ministry data and processes paperwork from different Samaritan’s Purse/OCC drop-off locations throughout the region
•    Receptionist duties to include; Monitor the front desk during work hours,¬¬ answer phones and route calls to appropriate person or department. Screen voicemail each morning for calls received after hours and during weekends.
•    Process and distribute incoming mail and facilitate outgoing mail as well as manage the Samaritan's Purse/ OCC email inbox
•    Welcome and receive guests, vendors, and salespersons. Maintains a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the general public. Connect the visitor with the most appropriate department or staff member. Assist guests, vendors, and salespersons with Electronic Visitor Registration. Follow procedures for accepting donations from visitors to the Ministry Center
•     Assist the Facilities Manager with administrative tasks; including coding and routing invoices and contracts, coordination of travel arrangements, submission of expense reimbursements, inventory and ordering of office supplies, review and editing of facility-specific training procedures, and management of Facilities departmental files
•    Fulfill a wide variety of Samaritan’s Purse/OCC West Coast Regional administrative duties and responsibilities as directed by the Regional Administrative Coordinator, Regional Director and Processing Center Manager
•    Assist with Samaritan’s Purse and OCC special events, working alongside inter-departmental staff and acting as an on-site lead for vendors
•    All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience: 
•    Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is required. One (1) to three (3) years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
•    Relational and task oriented 
•    Able to work in a warehouse environment and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
•    Strong attention to detail, able to multitask effectively
•    Ability to sit for long periods of time
•    Flexible attitude, who enjoys serving others and helping the team succeed
