Samaritan’s Purse is seeking a Print Manager, Ministry Materials to join our team at our International Headquarters location in Boone, N.C. You can be a part of a highly professional communications team. As a Print Manager, Ministry Materials you will manage the print production and procurement process for all products related to OCC international evangelism and discipleship ministries, including The Greatest Gift booklet, The Greatest Journey Discipleship Curriculum and New Testaments. Responsibilities include awarding production agreements, managing vendor relationships for the global print network, and supervising temporary support workers. Position requires twenty to thirty travel days per year. Come and use your gifts daily to advance the Gospel!

A day in the life of a Print Manager, Ministry Materials:

In the role of Print Manager, Ministry Materials you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Manage print production and procurement process through quotation, vendor selection and production timeline for materials produced at primary (U.S.) print provider facilities for export to 75 plus countries
  • Work in partnership with OCC International Logistics Team to ensure both vendor selection and shipping requirements are optimized
  • Ensure that all print products are packaged according to printed material pallet building, labeling and logistical/shipping specifications, and comply with international standards
  • Confirm accurate and on-time delivery of printed materials to meet ministry training dates and distribution deadlines
  • Manage print production and procurement process through quotation, vendor selection and production timeline phases for materials produced in country for 30 plus countries
  • Manage in-country procurement process for locally purchased Bible products when printing of OCC-branded material is not possible
  • Coordinate and track payment for all print vendors, primary print providers and in-country printing, including specialized in-country payment processes as required
  • Assist OCC National Leadership Teams (NLT’s) with print-buying activities to ensure appropriate product selection
  • Provide training and coaching for NLT volunteers involved in in-country printing or procurement processes
  • Assist Communications staff in effective production management of printed materials and web projects required by the ministry
  • Follow policies and procedures of Samaritan’s Purse as set forth in the Policy Manual
  • Attend daily morning devotions and participates in prayer support for the ministry, donors and volunteers
  • Maintain a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the general public
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and two to four years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies is strongly preferred
