Samaritan’s Purse is looking for a Regional Administrative Receptionist who can provide outstanding customer service to our visitors, vendors and staff at our ministry site in Fullerton, CA.  The ideal candidate communicates well and fulfills any requests with grace and compassion.  You will serve alongside the Operation Christmas Child (OCC) Regional Administrative Coordinator to provide comprehensive administrative support with a focus on details.  Join this team and use your gifts and talents for His Kingdom!

A day in the life of a Regional Administrative Receptionist:

At Samaritan’s Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do!  We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe. 

In the role of Regional Administrative Receptionist, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Respond to calls with a warm, professional and positive manner while fielding questions about our ministry. Routes calls to appropriate person or department received after hours and during weekend
  • Maintains accurate volunteer data in database software for OCC Connect volunteers and prospects
  • Tracks ministry data and processes paperwork from Samaritan’s Purse/OCC drop-off locations throughout the region
  • Fulfills Samaritan’s Purse/OCC promotional material order requests from our constituents in a timely manner
  • Monitors and responds to written and verbal inquiries in the Regional Samaritan’s Purse/OCC email in-box with care, professionalism, accuracy and timeliness
  • Welcome guests, assist with visitor registration and maintain protocol for accepting donations from visitors to the Ministry Center
  • Act as on-site lead for vendors at special events  
  • Assist the Facilities Manager with administrative tasks such as invoice management and has a keen eye for editing and details
  • Attend daily morning devotions and participate in prayer support for the ministry, donors and volunteers
  • All other duties as assigned by the Regional Administrator Coordinator, Regional Director and Processing Center Manager

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Flexible and willing to learn new systems
  • Team player; able to receive instruction and willing to serve others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
