Are you a Human Resource professional who enjoys building and implementing strategy? Our Human Resource team is looking for a Global Staffing Manager to join the team in Boone, NC. This position provides oversight and direction to the Global Human Resource Staffing function for various projects in all international and domestic locations. A day in the life of a Global Staffing Manager:

In the role of Global Staffing Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Oversee, train and direct Staffing Partners and Staffing Administrative support team that are responsible for Samaritan's Purse disaster relief deployments, both international and domestic
  • Serve as a consultant to key leaders and their respective organizations; Engage in strategic planning meetings to translate business needs into HR plans
  • Assist in the assessment of the HR needs in areas such as performance management, workforce planning, talent acquisition, career development, diversity and compensation/rewards. Provide guidance and participation in Human Resource team initiatives in order to relay consistent messaging.
  • Review and analyze business metrics including data on retention and employee experience in order to recommend systemic improvements
  • Work with line managers and employees to address, recommend and implement action plans for various employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests
  • Build and implement recruitment strategies with team to ensure all hiring projects are properly staffed, maintain necessary headcount levels, and successfully end on time and within budget 
  • Ensure that all Samaritan’s Purse screening and hiring policies and procedures are followed
  • Tracks and analyzes data to monitor business trends, market data, and costs of staffing on issues such as turnover, recruitment, and hiring expenses to build the best staffing strategies
  • Maintain knowledge of current employment laws and HR trends, particularly related to staffing and recruiting
  • Support the Assistant Director, National Staffing with various projects, reports, and studies related to temporary or project-based hiring projects for Samaritan’s Purse
  • Travel domestically and internationally, as appropriate in support of staffing
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Industrial Relations, or related field and at least five (5) years’ experience driving organizational change initiatives and developing talent management plans for a global organization; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • SHRM Professional Human Resources Certification or other recognized HR certification preferred
  • General knowledge of workforce planning and ability to implement hiring plans
  • General knowledge of marketing strategies and ability to implement marketing plans
  • General knowledge of project management, project organization, goal setting, and developing teams to accomplish the project
  • Thorough knowledge of business partnership and ability to build relationships and work collaboratively
  • Thorough knowledge of Federal regulations including Title VII, Affordable Care Act, and EEOC
  • Ability to coach and mentor staffing teams to complete initiatives and goals, and drive overall project success
  • 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire.

Travel Expectations: 20-30 days/annually (domestic or international); required travel documents and vaccinations for entry into foreign countries will be necessary
