We are seeking a Testing Administrator – MAKO to serve at our International Headquarters in Boone, North Carolina! A day in the life of a Testing Coordinator- MAKO:

At Samaritan’s Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do!  We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe. 

In the role of Testing Coordinator- MAKO, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Assists lab staff with Covid-19 testing, managing Excel workbooks, and processing test requests, results, and reporting.
  • Assists with the assembly of testing kits, tracks shipping information, maintains awareness of office hours, and communicates with shipping companies as needed.
  • Liaise with testing laboratories that Samaritan’s Purse owns or has a relationship with.
  • Manage all testing records in accordance with HIPPA and Samaritan’s Purse policy.
  • Communicate with staff receiving testing information. Be available to communicate outside of standard office hours for quick requests or to reach travelers before departure.
  • Provide daily reporting summary of all screening testing.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and six (6) months to one (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office software including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn new things quickly
  • Ability to work in a flexible, ever changing work environment
  • Ability to adapt approach and demeanor in real time to match shifting demands
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision

Job Location: Boone, North Carolina

Type:  Part-Time
