Samaritan’s Purse is seeking a Reporting Information Analyst to join our team in Boone, NC. You can be a part of a highly professional Projects team. As a Reporting Information Analyst, you will provide strong technical, organizational, and advisory support to all international country offices. The position holds primary responsibility for monitoring program activities data, reporting and support of Samaritan’s Purse global reporting system, Platform. International Travel will be required. A day in the life of a Reporting Information Analyst:

In the role of Reporting Information Analyst you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Act as the primary administrator of the Samaritan’s Purse global reporting system (Platform), ensuring accuracy and integrity of database information through technical assistance on the reporting system, coordinating data reviews, providing training to field staff, and developing resources/methods to effectively collect and report project activity data.
  • Serve as departmental primary point of contact for data information through various types of reporting, including reports for funders, internal reports, and other partnerships. 
  • Serve as project manager for any data systems development and enhancements, including effective preparation, organization, and implementation by maintaining communication with stakeholders, coordinating schedules and timelines, developing training materials, testing/piloting the system, and training all relevant parties.
  • Maintain a system of reports and metrics pertaining to project activity.
  • Develop and update reports and presentations with current metric information for a variety of audiences, including Regional Teams, IHQ Leadership, and external departments.
  • Ensure achievement reports are presentation-ready at all times.
  • Advise on data entry and validation best practices and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Program Management and M&E Advisors in the Field Operating Guidelines revisions.
  • Assist with trainings on Monitoring & Evaluation and Project Management to Samaritan’s Purse employees as needed.  
  • Support the International Disaster Response Unit by building capacity to ensure accurate data collection and reporting during disaster situations.  
  • Follow policies and procedures of Samaritan’s Purse as set forth in the Policy Manual
  • Attend daily morning devotions and participate in prayer support for the ministry, donors and volunteers
  • Maintain a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the general public
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university and a minimum of two (2) years’ related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to proactively identify areas of opportunity and suggest solutions to improve processes and achieve efficiencies
  • Ability to develop and carry out work plans and solve problems independently
  • General knowledge of working in an international and multicultural environment including disaster situations
  • Thorough knowledge of computer applications, in particular proficiency required in MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point, and Tableau
  • Thorough knowledge of database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with database tools
  • Thorough knowledge of data systems analysis and how to apply it to achieve business solutions
  • Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies strongly preferred
