Opportunity Overview:

We have an incredible opportunity for an experienced Business Process Manager supporting Operation Christmas Child (OCC). This Business Process Manger will lead the project management and in-house consultation to Operation Christmas Child (OCC) staff on the effective planning, deployment and use of Information Technology (IT) programs and technology. This combines knowledge of IT practices and OCC ministry goals to help plan, develop, and deploy systems and technology to meet OCC business needs. Systems used include volunteer management system (OCC’s Proprietary System), Operation Christmas Child Extranet (MyOCC), and OCC app.   Finally, this Manager will provide OCC data governance, and interact within OCC and function as liaison to IT. Technical Requirements/Duties:

  • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
  • Identifies, implements and manages strategic short and long-term IT programs and opportunities for Domestic OCC in support of Director and Senior Management.
  • Successfully manages, while working collaboratively with others, current solutions to organizational challenges (apart from annual shoe box gift generation) impacting SP/OCC as well as SP as a whole.
  • Initiates, plans, executes, controls, and monitors each project closely.
  • Systems include but not limited to Volunteer Management System, MyOCC (Volunteer Extranet) and OCC App.   Analyzes OCC domestic IT systems in order to perform project assessments.
  • Requires high level ability to scope a project, identify risks, and manage stakeholder’s expectations
  • Serves as a liaison between OCC and Information Technology department in needs assessment and subsequent, design, development, delivery, and maintenance of technology solutions.
  • Identifies, implements and manages strategic short and long-term IT programs and opportunities for Domestic SP/OCC at IHQ in support of Director and Senior Management. Successfully manages, while working collaboratively with others, current solutions to organizational challenges (apart from annual shoe box gift generation) impacting SP/OCC as well as SP as a whole.
  • Coordinates User acceptance testing of technology-related projects within OCC.
  • Responsible for user stories and testing of yearly IT program maintenance of established systems.
  • Responsible for building database of user stories for yearly testing. 
  • Collaborates on the implementation of the data warehouse for OCC.
  • Liaisons with IT to represent OCC’s data needs and configuration for Tableau and other data needs.
  • Provides oversight of OCC Domestic department data needs, requests and interfacing to ensure data integrity.  
  • Creates and maintains interface documentation.
  • Serves in supervisory capacity in November and December at an Operation Christmas Child Processing Center, possibly requiring temporary relocation.
  • Follows policies and procedures of Samaritan's Purse as set forth in the Policy Manual.
  • Attends daily morning devotions and participate in prayer support for the ministry, its donors and volunteers.
  • Maintain a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the general public
