Do you work well under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced environment? Consider serving as an Administrative and Staffing Associate on our Incident Management Team to coordinate our staffing efforts in the Bahamas.

Samaritan's Purse is responding to the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas to serve in Jesus’ Name. We have deployed an Emergency Field Hospital and are working to bring emergency shelter material, clean water, and critical supplies to families who lost everything. In order to help fulfill this great need, Samaritan’s Purse is looking for an Administrative and Staffing Associate to serve on our Incident Management Team for the Bahamas response. This position will be helping support the administrative and staffing needs for this response.

Description of Job duties:

  • Recruit Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) members, via email and phone, for clinical and non-clinical positions to serve on the Bahamas Response.
  • Maintain spreadsheet of Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) staffing availability to coordinate future backfill needs.
  • Maintain master staff tracker detailing scheduled travel for all deployed Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) members.
  • Provide on-call support to Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) members - recruitment, travel issues, general questions.
  • Work with response manager, medical coordinator, and program coordinator to properly backfill needed positions.
  • Work effectively and efficiently in high stress situations requiring prompt attention to issues - often after hours and on weekends.

Job requirements:

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Attention to detail required.
  • A working knowledge of MS Office software, including Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Samaritan's Purse Mission Statement:
