Our international employees usually work directly with beneficiaries in need or provide immediate disaster relief. We operate country offices and/or relief programs in more than 14 countries, and have brought physical relief and spiritual comfort to millions of people in more than 100 countries.
The living conditions vary depending on the country, region, culture, and type of work. For example, life-saving activities and relief work will have different living conditions than a recovery or rebuilding effort. Our disaster responses and most of our relief work occur in difficult locations. Since the living conditions depend on many different factors, candidates are always informed of the challenges prior to making a final decision on employment and are informed of whether the position can accommodate a spouse or family.
Full-time International Employee Benefits:
- Medical, prescription, dental, and vision coverage
- Long-term disability insurance
- Term life insurance
- Retirement savings plan
- Ten paid holidays (holiday observance will depend on the host country) Annual home leave
- Up to 12 vacation days per year
