You are invited to join Samaritan’s Purse (SP) to evangelize and disciple children across the globe!   Operation Christmas Child International is an exciting, fast-paced team working in Boone, North Carolina.  We travel to over 100 countries in order to train and equip national teams to share the gospel.  As a result, lives are being changed for eternity and new churches are springing up in communities around the world as children and their families come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.  We have an open opportunity to join our team!

The Administrative Assistant for the Americas will serve on the Samaritan’s Purse/Operation Christmas Child - USA International Team based in Boone, North Carolina working directly with our Regional Directors (RD), Regional Managers (RM) and International Field Representatives (IFR). Do you have the ability to multi-task in order to support a large team by booking travel arrangements and completing expense reports? Are you searching for a career with purpose? *Intermediate level of Spanish is required for translation and office support.

You will be given the opportunity to:

  • Prepare correspondence through transcribing letters, phone calls, and e-mail
  • Facilitate logistical arrangements via SP’s Travel Department to include processing of travel visas, airline reservations and materials for the international regional consultations and meetings in assigned regions
  • Coordinate airline reservations, travel authorizations and reimbursements for the assigned RD’s, RM’s, and IFR’s
  • Schedule all interviews and speaking opportunities for the team
  • Provide general administrative support for the department such as answering phone inquiries, correspondence, making copies, faxing, and general administrative duties as needed 
  • Travel globally 10-15 days per year

We ask that you bring:

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and one to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Spanish (intermediate) required
  • Experienced organizational skills
  • High capacity to multi-task
  • Ability to prioritize and critically think
